I would suggest one of those and put it on a quick release bracket. It will work with trucks like Volvo's and others with "plactic" mirror mounts. You can easily tune the radio (SWR) from truck to truck. |

Strikers are great, lowlow background noise and strong signal. I got my SWRs so low, they would hardly register and talked 10 miles. Now I drive a volvo company truck and they frown on you mounting bigol antennas like that... Strikers cost about $65 at the TA in OK City, are hand made and guaranteed forever. Super heavy duty.
