I roll on a 15hp Home built pocket chopper! No, really!
Hey, it does about 70MPH, and right now, hold on tight!!!!! My 13 year old son is way to scared to ride it LOL! |
I started out with a "crotch rocket" at 19yrs old. I was on the volunteer fire dept and the fire chief road a HD Roadking. The first day I got my brand new Ninja 1100zx I was so proud. I road over to his house to show him and I will forever remember what he said... "You may be able to out run me on that thing, but you'll never out class me." I sold that bike three months later and bought a 1200 C. Since then I have owned five new harley's, two of which still sit in the garage.[/img]

Ten Reasons Why Harley Owners Won't Wave At Other Bikers
* Afraid it will invalidate warranty. * Leather and studs make it too hard to raise arm. * Refuses to wave to anyone whose bike is already paid for. * Afraid to let go of handlebars because they might vibrate off. * Rushing wind would blow scabs off the new tattoos. * Angry because just took out second mortgage to pay luxury tax on new Harley. * Just discovered the fine print in owner's manual and realized H-D is partially owned by those rice-burner manufacturers. * Can't tell if other riders are waving or just reaching to cover their ears like everyone else. * Remembers the last time a Harley rider waved back, he impaled his hand on spiked helmet. * They're jealous that after spending $30,000,they still don't own a BMW K1200 LT :P |

I currently don't own a bike but I rode a 1984 Honda v-45 interceptor for many years... boy I miss that bike, I had lots of fun on it.
I'm starting to keep my eyes open for another interceptor, but i'd really like to find a 1984-85 honda nighthawk "s", just like the one in this picture I've always liked the look of these first gen crotch rockets and my old interceptor was a really fun ride, so when the time comes to get another bike, I'm gonna go with something I really enjoy |
rode my Katana for a couple years until my ex sold it while i was in Iraq. looking at getting the Hiyabusa 1300 Limited.

Hey mackman,
The 96's have ALOT more power than the original 88's. All depending on if the motor was the 88a or the 88b. I believe that the 88b's have about 6 more stock hp than the 88a. But if you take a 88 and dyno it against a 96 your looking at about a 25-35 hp increase. I had the 1550 big bore kit put on my new dresser (06 flhtci) this year along with a se2 cam, and stage 2 intake kit, and WOW... Not only did I gain about 33 horses, but my fuel mileage actually went up from about 38 city and 43 highway, to about 44 city and 48 highway. (this is depending on how hard you throttle of course) My next upgrade will be to put the 6speed kit on with a power command module. This will help out fuel even more, and give me the power to set up the efi when pulling a trailer or going through mountainous terrain. Quick question for everyone riding since I spoke of mountainous terrain.. Anyone ever ridden Deal's Gap in between Tenn and N.C. ? I rode it twice this year, and man what a rush..... Just watch out if riding a dresser, your floorboards will scrape... But what a roller coaster... LOL |
How much did that big bore kit cost????
|

AMERICAN BOYS RIDE AMERICAN TOYS. You can’t tell the difference; with a pipe they sound the same. Less money, more miles riding without repair its a smart move for the money! Service from the dealer is even less expensive! Why pay for a name when you can get the same exact look and more power to boot!!! Better check your facts about american made again. HD sold out to the overseas gang. Honda vtx is a jap bike check out where the parts are made, and where it is assembled, It will shock you!....lol |

8) Yea, well mackman that is the way I`ve always felt, until I saw a custom built RoadStar by Yamaha! Check it out at on the Yamaha web site, go to motorcycles then to Star. Right now they have the last 10 years showing the calender of Customs, I will never be a convert, but, like I said earlier if I was going to build another Custom!. It would be a RoadStar.
