Jackrabbit379 09-01-2007 01:53 PM

Yeah, I'm flipping around. Watching different games. I cant believe OU is beating North Texas 56-0. and I'm sure it will go up.

Cripplecreek 09-02-2007 07:45 AM

How bout them Gators, Ok it was Western Kentucky, nothing to get to excited about. Tebow is awesome,6-3, 235 lb QB, threw for 300 3 tds, ran for 38 1 td, only played until mid 4th qtr. The SEC and the entire country should be concerned, Tebow is a running QB who can mow people over and he has an accurate, strong arm. Heisman, oh yes....Bring on the Vols.

Mr. Ford95 09-02-2007 11:44 AM

LSU wasn't very impressive until after halftime but they are going to be real dangerous.

Wasn't very impressed with Auburn's offense, their D did good after losing 3 starters early on in the game. SEC is loaded and will likely ruin each other's chances for a BCS Title game.

Colts Fan 09-02-2007 02:49 PM

The Appalachian State v. Michigan game was unbelievable. I was at my father-in-law's in Toledo, OH this weekend and he has 2 Big Ten channels and the NFL network. Plus all the other games that were on the networks.

But that game was great. Very exciting finish. If I remember correctly, it was the first time a division 1AA beat a top 10 division 1A team.

Notre Dame looks like they're going to have a rough go at it this season. They could lose their first 8 games.

Jackrabbit379 09-03-2007 05:50 AM

I wish I could see Florida State, and Clemson tonight. That will be a good one. Bowden Bowl.

Those Longhorns barely beat Arkansas State.

Razorbacks are looking pretty good.

yoopr 09-03-2007 06:27 AM

I'd HATE to be a player at practice at U of M right now.
Good thing is that MAYBE they'll finally fire Lloyd Carr
Got a hunch that U of M might go undefeated after this-that or It'll go the other way.

OMG,me and yoopr fnally agree on something.Too bad we won't be able to hear about all those losses to CMU now, this certainly trumps that.....LMFAO

Got my season tickets to MSU,but not really palnning to go until the PITT game in week 3.

Mr. Ford95 09-04-2007 09:07 AM

Carr is afraid this loss may snowball with Oregon next week. I mean, how do you gear up for your next game after losing like that?? We never lost to a team we were supposed to blowout so I have no idea what he would even try. It's hard to simply "let it go" when everywhere you turn someone is talking about it and how embarassing it is.

yoopr 09-04-2007 11:30 AM

Michigan will bury them

GO DUCKS!!! :o

yoopr 09-04-2007 03:59 PM

We shall see-Either U of M will run the table for the rest of the year after this or they'll totally flop-I predict run the Table
Go State

Michigan walked on the Field expecting to win without putting any effort into the game and that's what happens.

Jackrabbit379 09-08-2007 09:01 AM

Are yall watching Michigan/Oregon? Oh my gosh! Did yall see the Statue of Liberty play that Oregon just ran?

Dang!

:D I'll bet Scoe's happy! Wonder if Michigan coach Lloyd Carr's gonna be standing in the unemployment line next week?

did ya

Scoe 09-08-2007 11:40 AM

Neener neener neener

WOW, what a game. First the statue of liberty play then the fake statue of liberty with the QB keeping for a TD.

Oregon sure looked good but they will probably only finish about 4th in the Pac 10 this year.

yoopr 09-08-2007 12:50 PM

wish I saw the Game-Bye Bye Carr-he has a great w-l record but always chokes

Midnight Flyer 09-08-2007 01:01 PM

:D Hot dang, a lot of my fave college teams are winning or have won today. St. Joe's boys at Happy Valley are beating ND 31-10, Oklahoma destroyed Miami 51 to something (13 I think), and Michigan got killed by Oregon. If this keeps up all the college football pre-season predictors and prognosticators will have missed this season by a mile!

Mr. Ford95 09-09-2007 01:43 AM

And as always Va Tech is showing to be overhyped yet again. LSU is dang good but to roll up 48 points on a D that is as strong as VT's?? They hung 600 yards of offense on'em, nearly 300 yards rushing on a D that does not allow a running game.

Midnight Flyer 09-09-2007 07:19 AM

:D Don't know about VT's defense but I'll say one thing for you good folks from Virginia, you guys grow the best peanuts in the world! Take some of those raw jumbo Virginia peanuts, put 'em on a roasting sheet in an oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes and you've gotta snack that's wonderful! I love 'em! 8) 8)

yoopr 09-09-2007 08:14 AM

Brett Favre for President!! GO PACK!!

C'MON CROSBY
Show me why I had Faith in YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackrabbit379 09-15-2007 07:34 AM

Michigan/Notre Dame is about to kick off. It must be pretty cool at The Big House. Everyone is wearing jackets. Here I am running my a/c.

Yoopr, I saw MSU beat PITT.

Mr. Ford95 09-15-2007 09:01 AM

Either ND is that bad or Michigan has somewhat fixed their problems......this is ugly, both teams look like poo but Michigan's is smelling better thus far.

How about my Miss St boys taking down Auburn on the Plains?? I like Tuberville but he may be gone after this year if he cannot win out. 2 losses to teams they should have beaten.......

Midnight Flyer 09-15-2007 09:15 AM

:D Well folks we've had some upsets over the past couple of weeks and I predict one today: I'm thinking Nebraska will surprise USC 28-24! 8)

Jackrabbit379 09-15-2007 09:29 AM

Well, I'm not a fan of either USC, nor Nebraska, but I would like to see the Huskers upset USC.

Mr. Ford95 09-15-2007 09:40 AM

You mean FAU's win today wasn't an upset?? They were blowing out Minnesota at the half thanks to 5 turnovers by the Gophers but Minny came roaring back in the 2nd half only to fall 42-39.

Lot of close games early that were blown open late by the big boys over the cupcakes. New Hampshire is putting a beatdown on Marshall coming to the half.

I'm going with Big Red tonight. Like what Callahan has been building in Lincoln. Looked like the weather could help Nebraska during GameDay this morning but the weather map is showing no rain but a cool night.

Jackrabbit379 09-29-2007 10:30 AM

Well, this week has been crazy for some.

Colorado came back in the fourth to beat OU. (27-24) Colorado was down, 24-10 going into the fourth, and put up 17 points to beat OU.

South Florida beat West Virginia the other night.

K State is pretty much spanking the Longhorns.

That's right. Anything can happen, at anytime. That's what I like about college football, you never know what can happen..

:D Well K-State and Texas is over the Wildcats spanked the Horns 41-21. Think maybe the Horns were looking toward Oklahoma next week? 8)

Jackrabbit379 09-29-2007 01:06 PM

Good point, Midnight Flyer. I think, both Texas, and Oklahoma were thinking about that Red River Shootout. It's funny, both schools lost today, and they go head-to-head next week.

I watched FSU vs Bama while ago.
They said that the two schools have only ever played 4 times against each other. Last time they played was in 1974. I never knew all that. Interesting.

Florida vs Auburn is also a good one. There is a receiver for Florida that is from Wichita Falls.

yoopr 09-29-2007 03:25 PM

Probably the biggest game, and toughest you'll see all year was the MSU/Wisconsin WAR today.
Back and forth battles and everybody is going to come out of that game Bruised.
Wisconsin just barely pulled it off and won in a squeaker.

Jackrabbit379 09-29-2007 03:31 PM

Yeah, I saw bits, and pieces of it.

Auburn just beat Florida, 20-17. Last second winning field goal.

Jackrabbit379 09-29-2007 04:22 PM

I forgot to mention, Kentucky. Where in the world did they come from. Kentucky has had good basketball teams, but that football team has come out of nowhere. :nervous:

Mr. Ford95 09-30-2007 01:10 AM

Andre Woodson could steal the Heisman this year. He has 16 TD's and only 1 INT which he threw yesterday for Kentucky with a 67% completion and monster yardage going. They may see a Top 10 ranking this week, if not it would be a shame considering they are in 1st place in the SEC East, especially if it's Florida who stays ahead of them.
