My new Volvo (a bigger '06 780 w/ 465 HP Volvo engine) gets 11.5 bobtailing! :lol2:
Now if this 11.6% increase corresponds to loaded miles, I'll be in hog's heaven. :smokin:
I'm guessing your pulling a freight box, and lets say you average 35,000lbs loaded in the box, at 65mph I bet you get about 7.0 - 7.2mpg
I'm dragging a dry-bulk tank and go down at 3800lbs in the tank, and empty back 2,200miles round trip with a flat-top FLD and 3.90 rears. I set my cruise at 63mph and I'm getting an average between 8.2 - 8.5mpg
