My wife just found out yesterday that her cousin has been diagnosed with late stage 4 cervical cancer. The survival rate for this is below 10-15%. She is 37 with 2 children, one is 16 and the other is 2. My wife's aunt couldn't go into detail due to the fact that there were little ears around. She was able to tell my wife that when her cousin went in for a checkup six months after having the baby, nothing out of the ordinary showed up. So within the last 18 months she went from being clear to where she is now.
Its hit my wife very hard. My wife is 12 days older than her cousin, so you can understand how she is taking the news. Out of all the family, she is the one we went to see the most, but now we live 2500 miles away and they haven't been able to visit like they used too.
All we ask is that you keep her in your prayers.
Thanks everyone
