I was never interested in Lutefisk either.
Speaking of Swedes. I've grown up with some Carlson's...yoopr. I wonder if there is some relation?
Pete Carlson started the Carlson's Fishery here in Fishtown.
His son Bill is about 10 years older than me.
Now Bill's son Clay runs the fishery. This is a photo of Clay.
Clay is also a bit of an artist. He did this for the Leland Wine & Food Festival held each year here in Fishtown.
That is one of their fish tugs he is in front of.
I've fished out of the Chub Tug...one like this only out of wood and fully covered.
This is a photo of a classmate of mine...Alan.
The Black & White inset is of Pete...back in the day.
We all have worked at the fishery at one time or another.
Use to be lots of local families ran fisheries here.
Alan still works down there and another couple childhood buddys of mine.
Like trucking...this kind of business gets in your blood.
These guys are only at home out to sea...or working the nets.
One more week to go for Whitetail Bow season to start.
I am going CRAZY !!
