Canadian carriers are not allowed to pick up freight originating in the US and delivering the same freight to US destinations.
Freight that originated in Canada may be delivered to multiple points with in the US.
Canadian carriers may also pick up at multiple points in the US so long as all of the freight the are picking up goes to a Canadian destination(s).

Wrong answer. Assuming the Canadian carrier has the proper permits and authority to operate in the states they are traveling to or thru they may travel to any destination.
It is Mexican trucks that are suppose to stay within "X" amount of miles of the border.
