well from what i know they are a pretty good company... my mom drives for them she is home often as she needs to 2-3 days every other week.. she runs all over trucks are automatic...... she gets plenty of miles
I worked for them for a short time a few years ago. I would have stayed longer but the truck I was in was breakdown prone. In the 2 months I was there I made more in breakdown pay than I did in mileage. I tried to get into another truck but seeing as there was over 30 drivers sitting in motel rooms in Murray, KY waiting on trucks I was told I was SOL for at least a few months.
The good points was I was always home when requested. Never had any problems getting breakdown, layover, etc pay. Never had to jump through hoops to get a problem fixed on the road. Pay was always correct. Never got dispatched into any area I did not want to run (IE NYC and Canada).
I have a buddy that works for them and he really likes them. He says that they are very good about hometime. He doesn't get home every week, but he can get home every 2 weeks or stay out for 6 weeks if he wants. He does a mixture of both. He seems to be really happy with the money and the equipment and yes, all trucks are automatics or at least they are headed in that direction if not there yet.
