Screw the company policy a real driver does what they have to, to avoid blinding passing drivers. I have yet to see a truck that can't shut off their cab clearance lights. The headlights on my truck come on as soon as I release the parking brakes. This includes the headlights, tail lights, clearance lights, etc. This is ALL controlled via the Body Control Computer. So, should I take a hammer to the computer? After all, it's a company truck, not my own.
