Curious if some are doing the electronic logs, but have to print it out and have a signature. Would be interesting to know. I know TMC was testing a system for paperless, but the drivers still had to back it up with a paper log. Thanks kc0iv |

Best advice, DON'T do it! Before long, many of the larger companies will be going paperless within the next year or so! So we might as well get use to it. I have never had one in my truck before. yes I know what a qualcom is, just never used one |

that doesnt work, but saltwater does. |
Do qualcoms make good wheel chocks? I think some should try it and let other drivers know.

Where did Zen Road Warrior go??? Its been 7days since he "kicked off" this post. I wonder if he tried disabling his qcomm, or hiding his "signal" from the Werner police, and now he is long gone.

We have paperless. I work for a smaller carrier and no logs need to be signed.
I don't know if there are any differences between Werner's system and others on an administrative level; but there are none on a driver level. |
I have driven for carriers that have done the same, paperless and no need to sign it with an actual signature.

There is a carrier here in Maine that has completely paperless logs. no need to print or sign anything. Almost identical to Werners system.

Walmart is switching over to paperless also,my Dad runs it and he doesn't have to print or sign anything.

We're testing something through a phone set-up through Nextel. Has the log on the screen. Lots of bugs in it right now.
