I have never been cited for log violations(knock on wood). Sometimes I log taking a break in a town that doesn't exist. I am certainly not going to run out of hours when I'm away from the house. I mean why would you be out here if you had to sit? I would never commit to a load if I knew i was going to be too tired to take it regardless of my hours, my company or the DOT. I'm certainly not a "supertrucker". I'm just making a living. I'm certain that you would never lie on your logs. Or maybe you can justify "fudging" on your logs, and convince yourself it's not lying. Until they start paying by the hour, everyone will lie on their logs, the extent may be different, but everyone will lie. Or are you the guy that will have to have his delivery time reset for Monday because you hit the 14 hour rule 47 miles before your destination. Ya, that's probably you. I heard you whining in the truckstop earlier about no miles, no money. At least you ran legal, and plus you'll probably get 75$ a night to sit the weekend. You ROCK! Hope you'll be able to cover the mobile home payment this month. Wait a minute, I know, you plan your trips so well that nothing ever delays you. HaHaHaHaHa.....Your kiddin' yourself!

I don't know about you guys, but I don't usually log everything the moment it happens. we wait for the "dust" to settle a little, then log it the way we should have done it!
dawn seems to have some merit as "entertaiment", but that's about it! |
Maybe some day you,ll have to exchange log books for these.
There can be no disputes with them and no falsifying records. .http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...ilife/dtco.gif |
