New Posting Requirements
 

Effective 3/18/10 members will be required to have a minimum of 10 posts before they can pm. This is being initiated due to spam attacks on the website. Hopefully, the change will help to alleviate or at least minimize spam to member pm boxes. Please let one of us know if you continue to have problems with spam being sent via pm. Thanks.

He's still peeved that he can't have more than 50 messages in his in-box. :p

I guess, if you don't clear up your messages, they can't spam you.:lol::rofl:
Although, this is the first time I've heard of the spamming. I have not had a problem with any of it, so I don't know what to get to enlarge my penis.:clap:

I've never gotten any spam either. I never really liked spam. It wouldn't be too bad if it didn't have that gooeey slime in the can. :hellno: :p

No.... I'm peeved that after following the site instructions for SAVING them, they STILL count against my INBOX "limit." :eek2::hellno::mad:

Because, as I understand it, my entire "allotted memory space" on your HUGE server, is driven by the amount of messages that continue to show in my INBOX. OR.... is just LIMITED to the amount of space that 50 messages would require if still IN my inbox.

I've actually tried using the links you offer to download them to my computer, but after doing so, I find they are STILL there! I suppose I have to check to make sure they were downloaded and THEN "delete" them in a page by page effort to get down to a zero balance.

There were MANY who objected to the 50 post "ante" when they were valid members and just wanted to be able to PM. Yet, there were spammers who would join and within 3 posts or so.... would spam the entire membership's inboxes with porn or an invitation TO porn.

It seems our once demonized owners and administrators have found a way to spot spammers more quickly and eliminate them, while allowing REAL members to start PMing at an earlier stage.

Bravo and Kudos to those who made this decision and change.
