Sounds like a nice unit, 10,700 sounds really light our 12 ton deckover weighs in at 8400lbs!

I like this post off his blog.
I wrote them a letter on Friday asking to finance the third axle upgrade but it was not in the cards. I"ll have to do it the old-fashioned way: by setting money aside.

How is buying something with cash the old fashioned way?? Sounds like the smart way to me. Seems like he lives on credit.

I forgot, he also changed out his rear end ratio AGAIN. He's still rolling though. i dont know how but he is still kicking and his blog is still as entertaining as ever. He does know how to write well.

Ya know... You guys pick on Tracer quite a bit and seem to forget what he's up against with the laws regarding what he can do and can't do in a foreign country. Just saying. The fact that he's still afloat means he's either lucky as hell or doing something right.

jagerbomber3.0 07-10-2011 06:43 AM

Dude, he is doing something right. He is getting good rates on a lot of his loads but he doesnt plan well from load to load and spends like his wallet is on fire and his but is about to catch. If what he posts is true it seems that he literally lives from load to load with no savings toward the future at all. He is on his second brand new trailer in like 2 years and is already planning more modifications even though he is basicly upside down from the first one and is on his third set of rear gears and is in talks of buying another new car when he has been trying to sell his other just to lighten his load. He seems like a good dude but if you have followed his whole venture he makes you wonder just how he has made it this far. Have you read his blog and kept up on his laptop computer and cell phone shopping habits alone?? Its amazing. Again, seems like a great guy and i love his blog but come on. Doesnt take a genius to spot bad business practice.

He may be getting decent rates on some loads but then he deadheads thousands of miles to the next load.Sometimes I think he runs more miles empty than loaded.

He also ordered a new F150 pickup that will show up later this summer. He's an interesting fellow.

You guys couldn't understand the "mysterious Russian soul".....

Tracer's a blithering idiot on his best day!

I loved his comment about "getting an overweight permit" when he was hauling TWO JLG 600AJ's! He's so dumb he doesn't realize that you can't do that. He spends like a drunken sailor and was truly astonished that Ford Motor Credit approved his financing because he own the square root of nothing. His only attribute is that he does write well making his blog truly entertaining!

Michigan drivers, there countless Canadian crossing the border every day hauling freight to and from Canada...he's not doing anything special in fact I truly believe he would be better and do better financially working under a dispatcher...he just can't think quickly enough or put things together quickly enough.
