Was at Cummins the other day and priced a RECON N-14 Celect+. They will sell one for ballpark $17,000. Sure beats doing a out of frame price you mentioned.

The $25K you mentioned earlier, GMAN, would almost cover the cost of doing an out of frame on an N14 and putting it in the truck if you had one laying around and had the time to monkey with it.

The 25K was not for the out of frame, it is what GMAN thought I might get for the ISX, new with no miles on it. I was thinking that a person could then use that 25K to do an out of frame and install it in the LoneStar. I think you could break even on that and have a 2010 LoneStar without EGR. It might be simpler to go with an earlier, non ERG ISX but you would still have the variable geometry Turbo and some other emission controls that the N14 doesn't have.

I don't drive anymore anyway, I'm just thinking out loud. I just really like the looks of the LoneStar but if I was still driving, I would only consider one if I could have it without EGR.

That truck is basically just a Prostar with a nice hood. They're real easy to drive.

That's true. Similar to the differences between the 9900 and 9400. Just a matter of hood and wheelbase length.
