That calculator plus some porn on the side really helped with the numbers.

Thanks for sharing the numbers.

I'll share a few of mine, but I'm on a straight rate.

98.5 CPM all miles
5 CPM safety bonus

Right now fuel surcharge is running at 57 CPM.

Giving a grand total of 160.5 CPM.

That's for all miles, I also get paid $20 per border crossing, and $30 per drop, going up $5 for each drop per leg.

The only things deducted from my cheques are "sales tax"(about $400) at the beginning of the year, and fuel. The company pays everything else.

I'm not shy about posting my numbers. Never have been. Whenever someone asks me (quite a few do) on the street, I always tell them. I feel if someone is ashamed of saying what they're working for, they should move to a better paying company.

My company is definitely a different one, they have about 400 trucks, and I have not seen them advertise for drivers. Not once.

Being all o/o is a plus as well. I don't think dry van 100% o/o companies are all that common.

I make decent money, but right now I'm looking at my options. Mullen may be one of them.

I've done the math, and for an independent to make about the same money, they'd have to average around $2 a mile, which I don't think is really all that hard to do. Remember I get paid mileage on empty miles as well.
