Yeah well in the dump truck line of work winter is always hard. I knew it was coming so i saved up for it. I will hopefully be back in work in about 2 or 3 weeks. I am tryin to call my buddy now and he aint answering. So as soon as i talk to him i will post more info.

Well i just talked to him i told him about all the permits and what not he would need. and he said to hell with it. He is going to tell the guy from FL he has to come pick it up. he doesnt want to deal with the BS.

I just bought a truck in FL and drove it to TX. I went to TX and got what they call a "one trip" permit. it covers the trip in one direction as long as there is no freight on the vehicle. It was a $5 permit. I got a temp insurace policy for 30 days that cost me $150. you probably don't need that if you have it insured now
