You guys just don't know. I have it on good authority that Steve has bought the body shop that is doing Revs work. Rumor has it that Rev's truck is undergoing secret and extensive modifications as we speak.

Rev that floor looks ridiculous with all those streaks in it! Then you go and try to put some junk antique malibu seats in this thing? Hell no! Put you a wood floor in, then go get you some Bostrom Lowrider seats in and make this thing look first class! I am afraid your interior is gonna look like its jurry rigged! I will give you some props on the exterior as it seem as if it is gonna look pretty good. Quit watching Trick My Truck and make this thing practical.

Now if you'd like to pay for a one piece wood grain floor ($775 plus shipping at 4 State Truck), I'd be happy to put it in my truck to make you happy. The floor will be redone in RhinoLiner when I get the truck back. then go get you some Bostrom Lowrider seats in and make this thing look first class! Your right Rev, Pergo is junk. I don't like in houses either.
If you still interested in wood floor I would use unfinished hardwood flooring, then use a marine grade polyurethane (2-3 coats). That should withstand the abuse. I do think that one piece floor you mentioned is nice. After seeing some of the wood floors that were put in the trucks at the MATS competition, I will say that if someone doesn't have the skill and tools they should not attempt it themselves. One truck in particular looked good till I looked up around the pedals, he neglected to put some kind of trim around his (awful) cuts. Just a thought but have you ever thought of a tile floor? |
