Yes, but it would be in your best interest to fill out a bill of lading for it, just in case any DOT try to give you a hard time.

they won`t let her in florida steve.

but if you`ve got any attractive sisters you can move them down, I had no problem moving my folks down, their older but much more attractive then your sister/wilderbeast.

Another question. My sister is moving to Florida in June or July. [/quote]

Steve,

Why doesn't she wait until it gets warm in FL? Don't want your batteries to freeze.

Steve,

look's like she might be over my 130 lb. weight rule.......

Good luck with the trip.

Be good, Jim

Just make sure that if you move her into FL, that she doesn't move any plants. FL requires all plants to be inspected prior to entering the state (usually about $50 per plant).

I guess what my real question was is it ok for me to move her without having a HHG license. I'm not doing this for profit. Not too keen on the idea of driving a 53' van. I'm sure it's not the same as my flatbed.

brian 01-28-2007 09:57 AM

yes you can move her, whether it`d be cheaper then renting a moving truck or not is debatable though.

Is it legal? Only if you don't receive compensation for doing it. Even if she is paying the costs, TECHNICALLY it is illegal.

Will you get away with it? Probably.
