Well, then there's no logical reason for you to want to buy a SMALLER trailer than you already have. So, I guess I'll have to keep it! :lol:Originally Posted by Rev.Vassago

My last mark is 4300, with a foot or so after it, and no rear belly box.

I came over to the Graebel Van Lines office here in Denver, to pickup a check that they owed me and when on the lot I saw a trailer for sale. It was a '94 Kentucky 53'x102" high-cube HHG trailer, aluminum wheels, stainless on the front and rear, extra lights all over it, stainless belly box covers, excellent rubber, brakes etc. They said that they guy wanted $12k for it, which I thought was a steal...I asked to look inside of it, popped it open and low and behold the purchase price was for the trailer fully equipped. About 40 load bars, 9 stacks of pads, 2 stacks of skins (small and large) car tie downs, 6- 4 wheel dollies, 3 2-wheel dollies and some other stuff I'm forgetting. Picked up the bill of sale from the fellas mom this morning, now I just have to head back down South and get my W900 to come back up here and pick her up. Definitely an exciting day for me...now I just have to get signed on somewhere and get back to work! I'll get pics up later....
J/K...

It's a really thin burlap pad with a very thin backing on it. Unlike a pad, it has no stuffing. I hate them, and try to use them as little as possible.Originally Posted by Jumbo

I hate pads as well, and do not use them. Most of the time I will just fold them over and place them under pieces when I'm sliding them on the floor. No need to waste an extra pad when I can use one of them under the legs something. I'd like to toss them in a field and set the on fire and cook a steak with the flames, but the fire dept. might not be too fond of that idea
