The vast majority of children outgrow burping by the age of 12 months or earlier. Should you worry about burping? Burps do not affect the growth and development of a child. Fortunately, even if your baby burps frequently but grows up normally, there is no reason for anxiety. However, a small percentage of children are burping so much that you should see a doctor.
