no, i didn't see or read it. the weirdest things i've felt and experienced have been on old highways in pennsylvania. in a car that i had rented many years ago, near (not on) highway 61, going somewhat towards centralia, it felt as though i had gotten stuck in a time warp. it was late at night and i was driving along the highway. not a single vehicle passed me in either direction for nearly 2 hours. i stopped on the shoulder to take a leak. i couldn't help but feel like something or somebody was watching me the entire time.
before that, i had never known what had occurred in centralia. i had a load to pick up near mt. carmel about a year ago. i began feeling a bit uneasy as i headed along the same highway. needless to say, once the live load was done, i was quite eager to get the hell outta that area. |
