company pay while being trained

ok a company agrees to train you as a possible company driver do they pay per hr. or per day?I had a few interviews and one company told us everyone gets $65.00 a day.How did you do? :?:

Seems to me they pay the day or the mile as a trainee. But I'm no expert. Wait a few, some will come along better to answer.

Who have you talked to?

Most companies I have seen pay either by the week or by the mile during OTJ training.

like uturn says, some pay by the week a flat amount others pay by the mile.

I have seen one that said they paid by the day. I forgot who. but it didn't really mean anything because it said something like $65 a day up to $350 a week. So i guess that means if your trainer is home for 5 days and you are in a hotel you might not be getting paid for that time. Most pay per week.
