i was watching msnbs dateline with chris hanson to catch a predator epasode
last night, its a televised sting operation where they catch dirty old men who try to hook up with 12 and 13 year old girls via internet chat rooms,these guys make me want to puke,but it was kind of funny to watch them get nailed by chris hanson one right after the other kept showing up at a setup
house to meet up with what they thought was a home alone 11 to 13 year old girl...anyway one guy shows up in a tractor no trailer just a truck with a sleeper ,the guy gets out hes long haired 48 ish looking dude thinking hes going to meet a 12 year old girl hes been doing some dirty chatting with on the net, he walks in and out pops chris hanson hes eyes light up like a dear about to get smashed by the truck in the drive way, he knew he was busted
he b lines for the truck and the county sheriff are waiting for him and take him down,search the truck find cocaine and run a background check to find out its not his first felony arrest for drugs ....did i miss something ? how is it this sleez bag can get a cdl and a good job and i cant ?

An arrest is different than a conviction.

oh ok thank you for clearing that up for me Uturn its all verry clear to me now YOU GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF DUMB *****.........

I was really hoping to see some GOOD news update from you when I saw this thread was alive again. I was disappointed to see you lashing out at US, for something that is not OUR fault.

My answer would have been something like this: Unfortunately, it is BECAUSE of people like this now infamous driver, that people like you are having a hard time getting a job. I don't really know HOW he got his latest job, but there must be some explanation. That doesn't help YOU.... and I'm sorry for that. I really think YOU deserve a break, and as this driver proved, it IS possible. Perhaps you should call the company HE worked for. [But, I might would WAIT for the dust to settle!]

I don't think I am the ONLY one on this board who is rooting for you. I think you should try to remember that.

So true! That broad-based stereotypical comment doesn't help. I'm hoping he doesn't let anger control him that easily and that his statement was misinterpreted by me.

Yakman: This is an internet forum, and as such, will have many types of personalities. (i.e.- jokesters, truth seekers, liars, blowhards, fact staters, etc...) Don't let ANY particular type get under your skin. As in real life - DON'T take things too personally. :wink:
