If your going to pull over for thick fog, do not pull over on the shoulder of the road, try to find a parking lot. Pulling to the shoulder makes you a sitting duck for a BBR who thinks they can see thru it only to ram into your parked truck.

Lady, I've seen a trick sorta like that but for winter driving. Saw a guy flip off his headlights and run with his chicken lights only. He was actually helping light the way for the rest of us with that orangish, yellow glow. I had fog lights on and could hardly see but this guy had it just right.

Oh yea! I do the same thing in the snow as the fog, only I have blue filters on the light force, it really helps.
