I hear ya, I had one time I passed an O/O that was doing about 65 I was doing 70 mph, and about 100 miles later he blew past me doing at least 75-80...

I dunno why he was taking his time, he was doing 10 under the speed limit to begin with...

Falling behind schedule or something I guess.

That no problem there, He may been looking into something and like you said when he finished he noticed he was behind and took off. And all he did was went around you. If he was preventing you from getting back over or being safe that is another.

So far in my 2 weeks I have not had any problems, I just slow down in heavy traffic and let em go , down the road it either clears or stops.

But if they think they can force me off the road when I am in my lane in some of the areas I run this week, we are swapping paint, I ain't going of the side of the mountains without a fight.

I wasn't complaining about it, I just thought it was odd. Because it literally was like 100+ miles later that he passed me.

first i would call the cop's THEN call his CO when i call 'his" CO i ask for safety and when i talk to them i ask for their email and 15min later i send them a vid of what the driver was doing. the driver can say all thay want to too safety but when safety has a vid of him doing it.. :dung:

when i had a car cut me off in colton, ca and hit his brakes to trun and i hit him all i did was show the cop the vid.. i still have a clean record

my dash cam setup set me back $75

I had a very similar situation happen to me, only I was the driver in the right lane.

Guy passed me doing maybe 1-2 mph faster. It took quite a while. Right when he got up beside me, we started going downhill.

Needless to say, my truck rolls very easy, and I was right at gross. I gained about half a trailer length, then the bottom came and he finally got pissed and put it to the floor.

About a minute later, he calls back on the CB "why did you give me such a hard time?"

Ignore button, on.

Well I had a JB Hunt driver gave me a hard time once.. I had a Frieghtliner with a Detroit in it that Did not like hills. I had to get my speed up to make it up. Well JB was loaded light and I had a full heavy load.

I'll go around JB on the down hill side and he'll re take me on the up hill side. He finially got on the CB and cused me out, but he was causeing me the headach for I was not always able to get around him. Once the road flatten out I was able to leave him behind at last. If he just sat back one hill I would have been long gone.. Little by little but I would have been gone.

When I got back to my Companies Yard, I asked for another Truck and when they asked why I said I rather not say.. Who wants to claim that a JB Hunt Truck out ran them? I left shortly afterwards to another company. Can not make money with your truck broken down all the time. In one week they had to put an Altenator on it 4 times, Once 30 minutes after they put one on it. Then it was running Hot and after telling the Shop it was they said it was normal for to run hot. After it blew the engine they put a Fan switch on it.

Smokey time

911 is your friend.

Warning to the supertruckers out there: Ill call the cops and your company on your a** so fast it aint funny if you drive aggressively. I'm also one of those 'very fit drivers in his 40's" who actually will pull over and break you in half.

This aint a game and that truck doesnt make your pathetic little a** superman. I/we can and will follow you to your next stop, yank your butt out of your truck and leave you bleeding. I've had a couple drivers test that then wuss out when i told them my name, what truck i was in and that i'd happily follow them onto the next offramp... My family drives on these roads. My friends do. My nephews are on these roads. You want to risk peoples lives ill take it personally.

And there is of course also another fun solution. We had a four wheeler decide to play "road games* with myself and my best friend one night. We simply tried to get out of his way. He started running up and down beside us, hitting hs brakes etc. We tried to let it pass but he kept pushing. So i got on the radio. He and i blocked the road. A third driver saw what was going on and pulled up tight behind him. I let off the fuel and we boxed him for about 5 miles. Did i mention i turned on the right turn signal while he was boxed? Then i just let off the accelerator and let him out. As you can guess after that he was VERY courtious then got away from us as fast as he could. Im sure he called someone but what exactly was he going to report? And who thinks a trooper is going to believe a (probably young superpunk) vs 3 professional drivers?

Some truckers help catch a drunk driver by doing that in SC once. Drunk had traffic backed up for 2 miles doing 25 mph. 2 Drivers manage to get around him and stopped till the Trooper could get there... This drunk was not only dust doing 25 on the Interstae but going from shoulder to shoulder. Traffic was backed up so far, by the time I got where they pulled him over they had cuffed and stuffed him and was gone with him.
