Ok Fred thanx for the quick response a new question for you. Well they allow me to put a power inverter in the truck ? A Maverick recruiter told me that they would put it in for me. With a recruiter expect the worst hope for the best.

TMC's "official" policy is no power inverters. If you go to a terminal and they SEE one, you'll get in trouble. And that's all I'll say on that.

In other words What they DONT know wont hurt you....

I have a son (24) just back from Iraq. He is in the Army at Fort Sill (I think) Oklahoma.

For some reason he does not talk to me much after coming home :cry:

I just keep praying for him. He says he is not going to re enlist so I have no Idea what he is going to do next.

I hate to say this, but you are to smart to become a truck driver...the reason I say this is because you were smart emough to become a Drill rather than a Recruiter...I would LOVE to find my recruiter and put him in a ditch...jk...driving is a pretty good job for ex-military, you and the family are accustomed to you being gone (maybe not weeks as a Drill, but very long hours)...I like driving a whole lot more then NTC 4-6 times a year(and yes I did that)

Hey Tootie I am glad your son made it back, for 18 years I would swear up and down that the Armed forces had the best career going for a young man. I have changed my opinion in the past couple of years. I am a Field Artillery soldier and spent 7 of my 22 years at FT Sill and just left there in August of 04. I am glad that your son is able to get out. My heart goes out to the guys that have 8 plus years and have families. They are stuck like chuck.
