CDL tests
Just use 'google' and search on 'cdl tests' and you will get over a million hits. There are several good ones on the first page. Just keep in mind, safety is really stressed in the real test. All questions are multiple guess and if in doubt go for the most safe answer, you'll do fine. In Florida here one can take any CDL test/endorsement the first time for free, then they are $5 each. Can retake a failed test the same day once.

Glasman 2 has a good point. There was a couple of questions in the general knowledge test about buses. I hadn't studied that section. Luckily I've gotten over that need for perfection, with age! I will settle for a 92%.
However, I took each section one at a time. I studied only the section I was going to test on, then took that test only. I figured, at 50, I didn't want to overload my brain. It worked for me, but I only live about a mile from one of the DOL/DMV testing centers. |

Drakmare.....sorry bout that.
I forgot about so many fee-based sites. I was able to find a good free one, but never bookmarked it. Try going to www.testprepreview.com/cdl_practice.htm; you can even practice for a CPA test if u want. Also try dmv.org. If I find anymore I'll post them here. I know there are a couple of good FREE ones out there, cause I used them also. Remember, if you don't really know the answer, go for the most obvious safety related answer of their choices. I remember two of the most possible dumb answers were "use one hand for streering on curves" and "always maintain posted speed limit on off-ramps" on the tanker test. Real no-brainers that those two are NOT good answers....Good luck!!! |
Thanks for all the great info everyone!!
I just passed my physical today and will be taking the permit test next weds.....**crosses fingers** -Drak |
Bump!
Here ya go tinbender...there's another one on here somewhere too. |
Thanks for the excellent sites. I kept searching and finding ones that ultimately wanted $29.95 somewhere (conveniently) in the process.
