I got the Rockys at a clothing/shoe store in Tahlequah Oklahoma called Workmans but they are a nantional brand. You can get them at most of the big outdoor store like bass pro, cabelas ect I'm pretty sure or try an internet search. I wore Wolvirines for years till I tried the Rockys. I think they are much better esp for dryness and insulation. Also' not all rockys are thinsulate so check for that.

I've got a pair of "high top" muckluks.... or something like that. They're kind of funky looking....got them at Cabella's in Nebraska. They zip up on the side, and they are all rubber bottomed with tread...they also have an insulated liner...might be "thinsulate"...not sure. Didn't cost much either. I bought the Cabella's brand....cost me alittle over $60.00. Worth every dime too!!

I wear Harley Davidson Faded Glory boots. My feet stay snug, dry, and warm.
And they have the added benefit of looking good, too. |

georgia giants are what i wear. steel toed (just in case i decide to run
flats later on, where steel toes are required). not that expensive, at 90 bucks a pair, but once broken in are very comfortable. if you have a tendency to have pronating feet (wear a corner of your heel), like i do, i also would advise getting a really good insert like superfeet (i use the green ones) which make the shoes wear longer and very comfortable. superfeet inserts are sold at most hiking retailers. |
Thanks whodat54321,
I had not thought of that, but I defiantly do wear the corner off the heal of shoes and boots. I'll look for those inserts. |
