Hey guys. Those house hold moving companies such as United and Atlas, are all those trucks owner operators only or are some company drivers? Thanks.

The guys you see going OTR are owner operators. The local guys (the ones driving straight trucks with no sleepers) are usually company drivers.

Local ones are mainly company drivers and the OTR are mainly owner-operator.

Some of the smaller companies use just company drivers. Some agents of the large companies have company drivers.

A friend of mine is the manager of a local moving company. His family owns the business. They have 2 or 3 condo freightliners that they use for regional work, but most of the bed buggers with the 500 wheel base trucks are owner opps.
