I lived in Rialto from summer of '71 to summer of '72. Orange county WAS quite rural (as was San Berdoo county.)
I've been out there (and S.D.) many times since I went trucking in '05. It's not the same. But.... it's still BEAUTIFUL!
The traffic in S.D. can be brutal during both rush hours. But, the beaches are great. The houses cost too much unless you get WAY out of town. I would look for something off I-15 30 miles or more above S.D.
But, there is a BIG difference between SoCal and SoFlo! Namely.... about 40% difference in humidity! Go WEST, young man! ;) |
