Glad to see Linda Ronstadt mentioned. I've always thought this one was kind of strange but cool.

Funny, I've been on a total ZZ top kick lately, the first four records :D

I once attended a roundtable discussion with Linda Ronstadt and some other music industry folks, all sitting about 20 feet away. Kind of cool and surreal.

"Daydream Believer" had a video??? Amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! Only a real man would step up and admit he likes the Monkees. Well you didn't exactly say you liked them, you just liked the song. But then you didn't really say you liked the song, did you? You just acknowledged that it existed and professed to know nothing about it.

I take it back!!! There are no real men here. :)

(btw, between you and me, Clee, I went youtubing for a live version of "Not Your Steppin' Stone" but the vids were too grizzly for even me to post. :) )

Haha, I'll say that for a half-fake band, the Monkees were better than most "real" bands coming out today. There are more Monkees songs lurking in the corners of recollections than people would admit.
