I KNEW there was a good reason to NOT be a trainer.

I wonder if keeping the trainee for 1 1/2 months played a factor.

That was my reaction, too. Come to think of it, it's been awhile since we've seen a "trainer from hell" story, here.

I heard somewhere that the air gizmos are pretty important. If I find a whistling noise, I call ONROAD. They might ask me to help pinpoint it but they would never expect me to fix it.

if I am under my truck for any reason, the engine is off, the doors are locked and the key is in my pocket

heh, I'll go one step further. If I am doing ANYTHING requireing me to release brakes, I DO chalk those wheels and park on the most level land I can find.

Ya beat me to it... We actually got a message about that incident over the Qualcomm this week, but it didn't go into the detail that Landline did.

Success!

All the credit in the world to the guy that fixed his own brakes and got rolling again . .

I don't know who was dumber, him for not chocking the wheels or at least leaving it in gear OR her for useing her foot as wheel chock! Wish I could have seen the look on her face when she realized that wasn't a good idea.
