Hey
Hey after a long leave of absence I'm back. I got my God grandfather helping me get my CDL. I can't see spending $3,000 when only big companies hire from schools and well it's just a scam all the way around. Yes I'm still in college.

I've got to serve some more time here myself. Not sure yet what I did wrong to end up back here... but I'll never forget Ridge looking at me cynical as I was released last February, and saying... "you'll be back." You can lurk all you want, but you are still being watched you know. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...0/icon_eek.gif http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...0/att06222.gif |
Well I've checked in a couple times to see if I got any new pm's within the last few months. I miss the days of coming here all the time. The other trucking forums don't have the same feel as CAD.

What kind of change you talking about? Remember Obama wasn't specific, so for now on every politician must be specific when they mention change.
And, how does it make you feel when the President of the United States tells the public, on national television, "FAILURE SHALL NOT BE REWARDED". Yet, look at what AIG did after the bailouts. Execs got billions in bonuses... For failure? We have a government that has grown 30% in just the first year. And, look at where it has grown. Take a good look at who gets to pay that $3.7 billion. The same people that can not afford to pay now. And, take a look too, at the mortgage bailouts. Did you know that the average money spent on a single home that was bailed out is $871,000? Just whose homes are getting bailed out anyway? Certainly not those at my income level. I'm about willing to bet there is not one single member of this board with a home up in that level. So, who is getting the benefit and who is getting the bill? |
We are getting f*cked all the way around.

I'd like to sneak up on Corporate America. While they are funding the campaigns of the two front-runners, I'd like to stay under the radar until the votes are counted. Let them wake up the next morning to find out "HUH??? WE LOST???" And, a President that does not owe them any favors. That is when the changes will start. As long as they have a place to stand on the bridge, their comments help to control which way the wheel/rudder is turned. If their candidate loses, they stand down with the rest of the country. It's time the Taxpayer had a place to stand on the bridge. |

Example; Senate election in Massachusetts. A Republican hasn't held a Senate seat in this State in 30 years. Republicans account for a mere 11 percent of registered voters. Independents make up 51 percent, with 38 percent Democrat. A conservative Republican was just voted into office by a wide margin, in one of the most liberal States in America. |
The democrats are still making excuses and trying to explain the loss. Their candidate had a wide margin and they thought she was a shoe in. Those people should be going crazy wondering what happened in Massachusetts. Teddy must be turning over in his grave. :lol2:

Great minds think alike there Hawkjr.

The Congressional and Senate seats the Dems will lose this fall should slow Obama's advance. Unless he has a dramatic change of course before than. And, I do not see that coming. He's going to continue to try to push through his agenda and lose even more support for his party.
It is quite possible that in 2012, we could have a President that is neither Rep or Dem. Someone that is capable of backing the best ideas from both sides of the aisle. Change is certainly coming, but it will not come from the Oval Office, or either House of Congress. It's going to come from the people themselves. Voters have been fed up for some time, but in the coming years, they will get desperate for "GOOD LEADERSHIP" will show them he/she is able to see the problems in this country, and not try to sway attention away from them, or pull at the leaves. Someone that will point to the root of the problems and have a plan of attack that will deal with those problems effectively. And, I do not believe that candidate will be either Dem or Rep. |
Obama is the best!!!!!!

P.S. it's about time for hobo to chime in........... Seriously, though, I’m curious to see if he spins it and tapdances around the issue or if he accepts it as a huge exclamation point to the fact that his president’s policies are dismal failures. Can’t think of a better way for that to be shown to the azzhats in Washington than to have a no-name Republican not only claim a senate seat, but to take ol’ Teddy’s seat, of all seats! Talk about justice! When that drunken sot passed on, my hope was that the democrat that took over his seat would not be such a liberal schmuckbag as he was. Could never have imagined the outcome that happened. But I have to give the POTUS a little bit of credit. He’s coming through on his promise to create jobs for hard-working Americans. He’s created 2 governerships and a senate seat so far. And I’m sure come November, he’ll be creating a whole lot more. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha! |
Hobo is still on line 5 DROWNING HIS SORROWS. Just heard on Fox News that Pelosi has ADMITTED DEFEAT She does not have the votes to pass the Senate version in the house to avoid having a Fillibuster in the Senate.

I always like to hear Dennis Miller's take on Pelosi.
One time he said "she is so empty headed, she couldn't win a game of tic tac toe against a worm." :block: |
Hobo come out, come out from wherever you are.....
