How Will You Vote?

Written by To The Point News Friday, 22 August 2008

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, they'll come over here, and I don't want to have any guns in the house to shoot them with.

(I'm so Democrat that I have a big sign on the door of my house: There are no guns in this home! That, I am quite sure, will deter criminals. I think all Democrats should be required to display this sign on their home.)

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I really wonder why anyone would ever vote Republican.

Please note: I did NOT write this, I just found it amusing.

Double L 09-03-2008 03:44 PM

People tell me I have conservative views so I guess I'm gonna say I'm a Republican but remember it's congress who controls the laws and regulations not the President! But if you really want to know who I'm voting for it's McCain!

BlooMoose 09-03-2008 03:44 PM

*sigh* Sadly, I found that to be pretty funny...

Double L 09-03-2008 03:46 PM

I'll agree it was pretty funny but at the same time true!

BlooMoose 09-03-2008 03:55 PM

That was the "sad" part!!

RebelDarlin 09-03-2008 04:28 PM

Which one do you find the 'saddest'?

HWD 09-03-2008 04:45 PM

This is so funny because the best comedy is steeped in reality.

This is exactly what the left consists of nowadays.

I found them all pretty "sad".
As I read it, I just chuckled...and kept saying to myself...How true!!!.
The funniest...though...
"I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse."

PALIN all the way. (and whoever that guy is, that shes running with.)

Didn't mean to undermine your post Reb. Thought I would put a poll up so we could get a count

** I am voting Republican because I think the government can run record deficits and we never have to pay it back.

** I am voting Republican because freedom of speech is fine as long as you don't think for yourself and always agree with me.

** I am voting Republican because we will NEVER leave Iraq.

** I am voting Republican because every expert and scientist in the world is wrong about global warming and they sure don't own as much stock in oil companies as I do.

** I am voting Republican because I do not care about genocide in any country that doesn't have oil or where I can personally profit.

** I am voting Repulican because I think big business should be allowed to keep every penny in profits and NEVER pay taxes.

** I am voting Republican because I beleive that 3 or 4 pointy head neo-conservatives can ignore the Constitution of the United States, defy Congressional subpenas and do whatever they want.

** I am voting Republican because I believe that when we can start wars for big oil or big business, hide the facts from the citizens, and let the REAL terrorists survive, I can personally profit.

** I am so Republican I think the only ones allowed to have guns are those that think just like me.

** I am voting Republican because I believe oil companies profits of 10% are much too low, so I will give them tax breaks every year so they can make more money.

** I am voting Republican because I love the fact that those who want to control they way me and my family live our lives, can't even control theirs.

Bitter, Gordo?

BlooMoose 09-03-2008 09:45 PM

Sorry I had to get all serious, Rebel Darlin...but, I found this...it talks about freedom...which we wont have for long if we allow the Marxist (Pelosi)-Socialist (Obama) factions to strengthen in the country...

Vote Republican because... Republicans want lower taxes and real property tax relief…

Vote Republican because... Republicans stand for safer neighborhoods and keeping dangerous criminals where they belong – behind bars…

Vote Republican because... Republicans want a better economy that provides more jobs, opportunities and prosperity for all New Yorkers – especially Upstate…

Vote Republican because... Republicans favor fiscal restraint and holding the line on spending…

Vote Republican because... Republicans support national security and will protect our homeland from terrorist attacks…

Vote Republican because... Republicans oppose giving illegal aliens driver’s licenses…

Vote Republican because... Republicans want work, not welfare…

Vote Republican because... Republicans know success comes from hard work, not government handouts…

Vote Republican because... Republicans believe in strong families and personal freedom…

Vote Republican because... Republicans honor the sacrifices of our veterans and all who serve to keep us safe…

Vote Republican because... Republicans think you – not government bureaucrats – know best how to spend your hard-earned money…

Vote Republican because... Republicans want to reform government so it’s of, for and by the people – not the special interests…

Vote Republican because... Republicans believe that legislators govern best when they work to remove the obstacles before each and every constituent, so they can be everything they can be with their God-given gifts, talents and abilities…

Vote Republican because... Republicans know there are those who face genuine obstacles which will last a lifetime and that we, as a people, have an obligation to care for them…

HAaaaaaay! I wus serious about voting for Mccain because of his choice in a "Good Looking" VeeP candidate.

Why..................look back on the choices before Ms. Sarah!

Dick Cheney? Gimme a break!

Al Gore......OK...maybe if you wuz from the wayback hills in Kentucky or West Virginia........with no outside world contact..........He mighta been..........but .................seriously??

Who was GHWB's veep? Dan somebody(Quail!!)...he mighta been good looking to them same women from the wayback hills..I guess...maybe.

Then we got's George H. W. Bush...tells you right there something is wrong.........a guy who needs 2 middle initials!

Now....Walter Mondale was not the best looking..or the swiftest Presidential candidate....but his Veep Candidate....I feel sorry for her on reflection! She was probably pretty decent looking in 1984...I just didn't pay attention.....Who could have presented a serious challenge to Ronald Reagan???...NOT Mondale! That negated the entire Veep issue!

Who was Carter's Veep? Wasn't it Mondale?? See...UUUUuuuuHGLEEEEE!!! And not the swiftest guy on the block either!

After Carter, the Whole "President / Vice President" thing got so murky...and I was so young...I didn't care!!!!

But Sarah Palin!

Two thumbs up!!

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P

I'm just wondering....Is her tush as good looking as Floored's tush?????

Anybody else watch her acceptance speech last night?

She flat out nailed it. Awesome speech, very well received across the nation, according to this morning's reviews.

Can't wait for the debates. McCain is going to steal Teleprompter Boy's lunch money and Palin is going to castrate Biden.

Win or lose in November, it promises to be an interesting 2 months.

Windwalker 09-04-2008 01:37 PM

The news articles say that McCain only met her once back in Feb. before selecting her for his running mate. It's very possible that she impressed him that well way back then. Every now and then, you meet someone that you will never forget, even if you never see that person ever again. She may have clinched the second spot on the ticket in that first meeting. For that matter, her "tush" may have had an affect on him back then too. But, I honestly think he was impressed by far more than her looks. I LIKED what I read about her long before I got a look at a picture of her.

Think about how impressed you guys are by the looks of an ex-beauty queen. How well do you think that will go along with many of the foreign dignitaries? I think she's about the best choice he could have made. She's going to get him a LOT OF VOTES.

LOL...I didn't know until last night that she was an "Ex-Beauty" Queen! Her elocution was fabulous..her face was wonderful...her smile sure as hell looked genuine!

And the fact that she has a nice "Tush"...all the better! :P :P :P Gives the men whom will be following her something to remember!

BlooMoose 09-04-2008 03:53 PM

It's not fair....why can't Mark Wahlberg be nominated for VP??? I'd definitely be following THAT a$$ around...I know what I'd be lobbying for! My special interests!!

I think it was a very good VP choice for the Republicans. I am sure the Democrats have some big earth movers out there looking for dirt to counter.

Drew10 09-04-2008 07:54 PM

Cant wait for tonight.....I was watching a Cindy McCain interview today. She said he has been practicing his acceptance speech on her for a few weeks, Its speculated that it may be handled similar to a "town hall" meeting. Where he will be walking about and interacting with the attendees.
Im sure its going to knock the ball out of the park.

Yeah...I saw that, Dragged that guys butt out of the ball park.
McCain even made a comment something to the effect of "Dont be distracted by the ground interference and static"

McCains speech was OK...But, Dang he really stinks with the teleprompter. He is so much better impromtu.
Palin, on the other hand, is very good at giving speeches. It will be interesting to see how she does without a teleprompter.

  I didnt notice who they were. WOW. Kind of amazing that they were in there to begin with. RNC lets the far left libs in, but I dont seem to recall any interruptions during Apollos speech at the DNC.
Kind of goes to show where to maturity lies.

Those are the anti-war idiots out of Berkley. Judging by the look of those two heifers, they could each be a full division of soldiers by themselves.

Gotta admit, they put a perfectly ugly face on the hate-America douchebags.
