I agree. You should either consent to the 20 questions, or else tar and feather yourself for that one, Syncrosonix.

Is the 20 questions only for long-time members/posters or can newbies do it without risk, too? It seems like a good way for everyone to get to know each other. I know there is an "introduce yourself" thread but it's so long and I can't remember anything about members when I'm trying to acquaint myself with them that way by the time I read the next page worth of introductions.

Anyone can start a "20 questions" thread. Go ahead and do it. Just bewarned that the questions are a "free-for-all" and anything goes

Hmm...that's a little intimidating. I am not shy at all - but maybe I should wait a bit. I'm still getting familiar with everyone's personalities. I do like reading everyone else's thread's, though!! I really like this board.

Twilight Flyer 08-14-2008 10:25 AM

Yeah, with your user name you would probably get a question like:

Did you really bloo a moose? If not yet, but if the money was right, would you?

Make sure you can adequately answer those types of questions. With the characters we have on this board, that question is probably tame compared to what they'll ask you.

OMG! I hadn't even thought of that but THAT'S funny! I've never even seen a moose up close and personal, actually...but Moose is my youngest son's nickname (he's 17 months old). I expected him to be a moose because I could have sworn I felt antlers trying to come through my tummy!!

I can pretty much hold my own. I have been on drillling rigs off and on since 1993 and those guys LOVE to mess with me. They have no shame whatsoever.

Windwalker 08-14-2008 11:54 AM

BlooMoose, isn't that right cheek supposed to be getting a bit RED by now? :?:

The only problem I see with noobs doing 20Q is that it's difficult to really ask personal questions of an unknown.

TK THE TRUCKER 08-14-2008 01:30 PM

I'm too scared to do 20 questions. Maybe someday 8)

I like to think it is more about changing preconceived notions about people you think you know.

RebelDarlin 08-14-2008 01:46 PM

How well do you ever know anyone online?

By waiting until I've seen enough to have preconceived notions about them, of course.

RebelDarlin 08-14-2008 01:51 PM

So do you agree with Big D's list? Or do you have your own?

Hey Bloo! Don't listen to that TF guy. I can't see those type questions being asked of a lady on this forum. He's out of line. :P

BTW, Just wondering. Do you prefer pink panties as in the avatar? Or, are red or black more your speed? High cut? Sheer? Commando? Ummmm........I'll be right back.................

RostyC 08-15-2008 12:22 AM

We need 20 Q from Twilight Flyer..............and I know my FIRST question.  C'mon man just do it! get it over with.

I think GMAN would be an interesting 20 Q

Twilight Flyer 08-15-2008 12:58 AM

We'd have to do 19 questions, because I wouldn't answer the first one. Life's most embarrassing moment will remain top secret.

RebelDarlin 08-15-2008 01:00 AM

Just Do IT then...

Black are more my speed but pink is good...sexy panties are sexy panties, it's all in how you wear them...when you wear them...

T-back's look good but aren't comfortable...digging at them isn't real attractive. Commando is better than T-back for that reason...

Just start your own thread already! You know you want to.

I'll think I'll wait my turn...some people here are very nice to newbies, it seems but there are some that I'm still waiting to see about (as the Rev said...preconceived notions). Brutal honesty = ok, probing personal questions = ok, being blindsided by unnecessary meanness...I'm scared of that.

Don't be. A perfect example of what might be seen as unnecessary meanness would be my rant at YoungZ.W. What you haven't been privy to is his well documented history of deceptiveness. He has been advised not to do this, but wants to continue unabated. Keeping a tight leash on a questionable participant like YoungZ.W. is merely an attempt to help keep this board credible.

If my two rants at YoungZ.W. would have been targeted at an undeserving poster. I probably would have already been banned from the board.

Nothing to be scared of Bloo. Unless the preference for black is a ruse.

I wasn't referring to you at all, Belpre122! You can ask me anything you want! My preference for black is definitely not a ruse! In fact...I'm wearing black right now!
