Let's all DUI in our trucks......

The truck's driver, Stephen Mark Novacic, of Shaler, is being charged by police with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving and careless driving.
Thanks to one drivers dumb move, a innocent victim is now dead. Drink up. Maybe one day you'll all be on the news too.

Apparently the drivers who come though New Stanton dont need any alcohol at all. They just dont know how to drive period.
Theres been about 5-6 roll overs in the last 4-5 weeks, all with about 3 miles of the interchange. The last one was last Monday I think. Crete rolled it over at the 56 on 70.
I noticed that for a while the DOT pressure at New Stanton has been pretty light compared to what it was a year ago. They were there EVERYDAY this time last year. I guess they were givin us a bit of a break but I wouldnt be suprised if they start hammerin heavy again after all this bullshit.

I'm a big supporter of drinkin & ridin.

That's because they don't read the speed limit sing on the ramp.

For gods sake, are these the first times that these people have ever been on an interstate or highway with on-off ramps???
MOST ramps are a standard 25mph. I'd think that you should know to approach any ramp with caution regardless of with the posted speed is though. The state shouldnt have to be responsible for you having common sense. It dont take a rocket scientist to figure out that you shouldn't go around a ramp at 40+MPH.

Yes. It's thier first time on thier own. They don't have a trainer to hold thier hand anymore. Plus some of them can't read ENGLISH!

Common sense in the trucking industry died along time ago.

Who else is going to hold thier hand. They can't think on thier own.

Most them were Rocket Scientists BEFORE they became truck drivers. Just ask any of them. They gave a six figure job to drive a truck.

Just a thought... Do you think they would be driving a truck if they were "ROCKET SCIENTISTS"??? They simply have not GRADUATED from being 4-WHEELERS. These trucks do not like being driven like a 4-wheeler. To error is human, but to forgive is not the policy of an 18-wheeled vehicle.

Am I the only who noticed that it wasn't actually a big truck, but what looked more like an F750 - the type anyone with a regular Class D license can operate?

 But what fun would it be to admit a regular four wheel driver did that?
