What is your age bracket???

I am curious as to if there are more young people here or older.

I ask cause I have seen some weird responses lately and am curious if its our old timers or if its the new generation giving legitimate answers.

Well I guess you stop at 50 or so
You should have 60 and older
Or 65 and older
I know we old farts should be fishing or golfing but I have done all that as I got retired at age 52 due to base closure and did lots of fishing and I now golf every week and run a internet company the past 11 years but I wanna be a trucker now. My web site is www.hinkleymall.com and if you follow all the links you will find 75 or 80 web pages. I sell and ship all over the world and even make couple bucks doing it.
You can click at the left bottom of main web site to see my Resume.
If you click on Our Place Bar you will see my wife and I on our old Harley.
The picture at the top is showing me brewing 17 barrels of beer helping the Brewmaster at the Colorado River Belle 3 weeks ago. As a old home brewer and owned a Brewing store and one of three people who started the Brewing Club back in 91 Antioch Ca that is still going strong. They made me a Honory Life Time Member now.

RebelDarlin 10-04-2007 05:40 PM

48 and proud of it! And yes this is a second career although I hate the term "mid-life crisis". Just tired of being tied to a cubicle!

ibamars 10-05-2007 12:04 AM

I am amazed at the responses to this question. I would of never thought that there was an older crowd here. I myself am 37.

Ridge Runner 10-05-2007 12:41 AM

Turned 46 two weeks ago. ( 9-22 )

I was amazed at how the age didn't match my idea of the poster.

You're not old Skywalker, just short!

Ironturkey 10-05-2007 06:01 AM

36 the beginning of my 3rd childhood

nrvsreck 10-05-2007 12:43 PM

Seems trucking suits the older guys as they tend to be less likely to job-hop like us dumb kids. They spend years (decades) doing the same old thing, then decide they need something different. Kind of like all these RV'ers on the road, except they're getting paid to travel across the country.

Rockee 10-05-2007 01:45 PM

49 here. It would be kinda hard to tell by your poll weather a weird response was made by someone younger or older. Interesting to see what kind of variety there is though.

ibamars 10-06-2007 02:59 AM

Yeah definitely not what I was expecting. I went into to trucking cause I was burnt out from being a manager for so many years. I played some kind of management roll for almost 15 years including a district manager for a few. I did trucking cause I like not having someone look over my shoulder all day. Instead they look over my shoulder on a radio to find out whats up instead.

Sizzle 10-07-2007 02:40 AM

I've probably mentioned this in other posts. I went into trucking after getting a divorce, I was married for 1/2 a lifetime. I was an Accountant and a Manager over 7 Accountants. I would make a ton more back in the office. However, I got sick and tired of working with bitchy women. There's no way that you could have 7 happy women all on the same day. It was miserable working with women. UGH!!! Now I'm working with horny men not sure I made an improvement. HA-HA!!!

I'm sure I did make an improvement; although, some of the idiots on the C.B. prove me wrong at times. But I'm not saying how old I am I look 15-20 years younger than I am. I like younger guys due to their energy levels. My ex was only 3 years older than me and acted 20 years older.
Guys my age just don't appeal to me.

There's two questions women don't like to answer AGE & WEIGHT.

I'll say I'm 35 and holding. How's that?!?

So, how longs this holding pattern been goin on??? :) :)
(I know you arent going to answer it, just had to reply to it  )

geomon 10-07-2007 03:45 AM

You're not old Skywalker, just short!
Short? Nah...the perfect height. Why? Cause his feet just reach the ground :P

I'm 50.... So all of us that are shall I say "longer in the tooth" need to be kind to the young'ns cause before too long, they will be providing our social security payments. So keep workin hard you kids :D

RostyC 10-07-2007 07:30 AM

37 on 8/11. I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up. :D

WildK9 10-09-2007 05:30 AM
