I'll have to take your word on the prostate exam. My 1st one isn't scheduled until next year.

Prostate exam is pretty uncomfortable, but it's only for a few seconds. Atlanta can be torture for hours.. especially if there's a wreck, or rain, or snow, or ice, or it's a day ending in y

That T/A is no longer listed on the company website.

I had to do a 34 hr re-start there when I was with my trainer. Made it a point to NEVER have to stop there again. Not even for fuel.

for us the only time we got around it is when we pick up at fedex and we can park at fedex, so no big deal for us but it was nice to get coffee when we left fedex just coffee and then get the hell out.... and yes the lot lizards and drug dealers would come up to the truck at the fuel island.

i just wanted to let drivers know it was closed so if thay see this thay can plan to stop someplace else.

Used to be I never went south of Cartersville on I-75 if I was going to the Atlanta Metro area, or north of Jackson on I-75. If I was headed east into Atlanta on 20 Or 85.... I usually parked in AL.... going west on 20 or 80 I usually stopped early as well.

The "Atlanta TA" was a rathole even years ago :x

Nowadays, I just go to our terminal in Morrow :D Nice and quiet too!!

So are they planning to renovate it/turn it into a Pilot or just tear it down?

I never really thought of it as a particularly bad truckstop, as compared to the Jessup, MD one or the Werner terminal in Dallas. :p
