Stupid questions people ask you?
 

I'm a UPS package car driver and It always amazes me the dumb question people ask me.

Like:

As you hand a package to a person they ask, "What's this?" A brown box. How would I know, but I'm asked this question at least 10 times a day.

"Does your truck have air conditioning?" Sure that's why I drive around with both doors open.

In the summer: "Is it hot out?" No, I always sweat like this.
In the winter: "Is it cold out?" No, I like wearing 5 layers of clothing.

"Are you Fedex or UPS?" UPS, the yellow UPS on my shirt should give it away.

And finally, people who hand me US mail and get mad when I won't take it. "Aren't you the same thing." No I work for a living. :D

I work in a TS. Do you really want to go there?

Yeah, crazy. I dont see customers now, but I have had some dandys. :shock:

"Do you sleep in the truck?" I have some stupid friends...

Can I ask you a question?- That is a question in itself, for which you did not solicit permission.
Why do you need to ask permission for the second question?
So why don't you just ask your intended question without permission,
and I'll decide if I want to answer it or not.
That would be the stupidest question of them all.
So, next time someone says;" Can I ask you a question?"
Answer;"You just did."

"If I'm going west, which way do I need to turn to go north?" :lol:

This one is from before I drove and worked in a warehouse, but is truck related. My best friend came by while R&L was making a pickup. The place I worked didn't have a stationary dock, but one of those ramps we could move on the yard you know 50 feet long and very heavy. Well here it comes....My friend asked the driver where he stored that ramp and if it was hard to get it on off the truck. That was propably one of the funniest things I had heard.

Once you start linehaul you'll be so bored you'll be asking yourself stupid questions! :lol:

For example, why is it that I drive my car down a Parkway, but when I get home, I park my car in a Driveway?? :party:
