I stay with them for the magazine. The few times I have attempted to inquire about their services and have never gotten through to anyone, just a mailbox. And no one has ever returned my call.
I take that back, they did call me back regarding an insurance policy. But we never made it to actually getting a quote. The reason I never actually got a quote, was the fact that some of the carriers I occasionally broker with, will not accept the OOIDA cargo insurance. So they were a no go right off the bat. And in all reality, I cannot say that I have seen them actually do anything for the industry other then going after Prime and Landstar. OOIDA actually reminds me of a union, they collect the money and it all kinda escapes into thin air. I really do not know what they do, or offer, other then a magazine subscription. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. |
