What are the axle configurations, does the trailer have steering or self-tracking, and how will you detach the neck? is the neck air release pins or hydraulic?
Sorry for all questions, I,m just interested in any differences between heavy haul there and over here.
Thanks, Kev

This is what the trailer will look like except it will have two more axles on the end that we can take on and off. As for the modifications we have had it made up where we can haul some special equipment that we have. The neck is detached with air pins.

Nice trailer... Looks like a "T6O" .. A trailer that is 60ft from back axle to pin?
Looks very much like a "king" trailer too. Will see if I can find photo of one for you.
Thanks NascarFan

Mainly used for standard type European work mate, as maximum permissable weight in Europe is 40tonne. Whereas in the U.K most units are six wheelers and plated to 44tonne. The photo Nascar displayed; A four wheel unit pulling a tri-axle semi would not be special types, just used for general stuff like moving small excavators or plant. It,ll only be plated to 40tonne. The reason some British companies use the four wheel unit is because the road tax is cheaper on them too.
