Gillian says she does not mind if I go European driving when I get my licence back(in order to make more money) but she detests the thought of my being away for any more than a week or two at a time.
I have to respect her wishes and weather the storm that is engulfing me for the time being at least.
You,re a good man Colt, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the help you offered.
Yours Sincerely

I was having my hopes up too, but you gotta do what you gotta do so that you can sleep nights.

Very nice it is... what size pin is on that fifth wheel?
What height fifth wheel is it? 1580mm?
And what will that kind of truck be plated to? (I notice no connection points on front of unit, or locks on chassis for ballast box)
What type of loads do you intend to carry?
I,m interested to hear
Very nice unit I have to say.

Sorry Wot I Life I only know the answer to two of your questions the truck will be pulling a Talbert 50 ton low boy that we can add axles to so that it will be able to haul up to 70 ton. The truck will be used to haul equipment.

Thanks NascarFan, I appreciate that. Is "Talbert" a model of trailer, just as we refer to trailers such as "Andover", "King" and "Nooteboom" by the manufacturers name?
Thanks, Kev

Yes Talbert is the Maker of the trailer. They modified this one just a bit for us so it's not just something you can buy off the lot.

Thanks NascarFan, do you mind my asking about trailer modifications?
What are the axle configurations, does the trailer have steering or self-tracking, and how will you detach the neck? is the neck air release pins or hydraulic?
Sorry for all questions, I,m just interested in any differences between heavy haul there and over here.
Thanks, Kev
