Then again the driver might have set up to run her wide and some dumb 4wheeler decided to squeeze thru. Seen that enought times.

The trailer should have been set up in the right lane to block any possible Mr. Sneaky-Man, while the tractor is in the second lane to be able to make the tight turn.

That van was the safety manager trying to flag him down to let him know that there was an error in paper work, and that he wasn't cleared to drive just yet.

I had an accident just like that. I had to swing really wide to make the right turn and it was enough of a wide swing that, despite my turn signals being on, some guy decided to place his Jaguar in between my trailer and the curb.

But sometimes that's not always possible. In my case, had I tried to block the right lane, I'd have taken out a streetlight. As it was, even turning from the #2 lane I still was within a few feet of the streetlight.
