One thing Hillary said a few months back that the media didnt make a big deal about is that she wants to put the national speed limit back down to 55mph.Im guessing she will not be mentioning it again during this campaign. Surely it wouldnt be a very popular stance especially for you truck drivers.
Personally, I dont even think Hillary will get the democrat nomination.(although as a Republican, I hope she does).

Yes, thats what she wants to do. A national 55mph speed limit.....just like Carter did. of of coruse states set their own speed limit and no state has to follow a national speed limit, but what our gov would do is the same thing they did in the 70s, withold Federal Funding to those states who didnt comply with it. Most states would cave in.
But hey...look at the bright side....We (jb hunt) wouldnt be the slow trucks anymore!
