Well, seems the first few days of this year haven't been the best, luckwise. The 29th of December, I went to the local Discount Tire to price a pair of 315 series Nitto Drag Radials for my Mustang, and left from there to head to a female friend of mine's house. Well, on the way there, there was a very small hard object (looked almost like a chunk of concrete) in the road. I didn't have time to swerve and hit it, it didn't damage my car any, but blew out my left front tire, my spare wouldn't clear my front brake calipers (Baer Brakes)...so after awhile working at it, I got my car going back again thanks to a friend making a parts run to me, took it home for the night and grabbed my pickup. Kinda disgruntled b/c now apparently I'm buying 3 tires for it, instead of the original 2...I head off to her house. January the 1st, I decide going to Starbucks is the thing to do, so I head there (decided to take the mustang for some reason) , grab my drink and on the way home I'm noticing the back of the car feels squirrly while driving, I get back to the house and notice my right rear tire very low on air...so now that's a whole SET of EFFIN' tires I have to buy. I suck it up, and plan on doing so later in the week. Now...here's the kicker in all of this, I stopped by the parking lot where I keep my KW, and check on it since it's been sitting for a couple of weeks, start it up etc. Well, while doing a walk-around, I see a nail in each of the inside rear drive axle tires. I'm assuming someone did it intentionally, b/c the odds of picking up a nail in each in almost the same exact location is kinda slim.
So, 3 days into this year, and I am already having to buy 6 tires....I can tell it's going to be a good one for my wallet already
