Far as I'm concerned, you can keep the snow. I trust my drivin' in it but, I don't trust the other guy's. Especially, those half wits that think they can drive anyway they want in their 4 wheel drive rigs.

Anyway, a frustrated driver from the "Hinter" land was having pronunciation problems with Houston Street in Manhattan and yes I was in the section called South of Houston or SOHO....

I"ll add this to the end of a very long thread.

We've all seen it in a bad movie or a cartoon. Well, here's the real thing. I was sitting at a 3 way stop at the SeaTac airport up at Seattle and there was a Hurst sitting in front of me. It's his turn to go, so he does. The next thing I know my eyes are wide open, my jaw hits the floor and there I sit laughing so hard I can't see straight. Morbid humor, absolutely, but I couldn't help myself. Apparently the driver failed to secure the casket and the door and in one last defiant attempt, the Casket made a run for it. Kind of like the left sock in a dryer I guess. Once I was able to calm down a bit, I did get out of the truck to help the guy put the poor sole back into the Hurst, along with a couple of guys from a nearby bus. I've seen allot of odd things out there, but this one is always on the top of my story telling list. At least I have a picture to prove it. RIDING THE STORM OUT!!

What a thrill Wednesday the 14th was as a very depressed Alberto made his presence known.

Albereto cried alot of tears as he made his way up the East Coast making drivers lives miserable as he floated along.

It does get to be a bit unnerving when a driver goes around a curve only to find a HUGE pond where an intersection would be. The "TIDAL" wave that was created made some teens yell out "surfs up!" as they got knocked off their skate boards.

Not very bright to be skate boarding in a Tropical Depression any way but then again....

Doc I finally got to see New York. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. We had to take a load to Long Island. We were there last week during all the flooding in the Delaware Gap area. What a mess that was.
