This Group of Truck Drivers is Helping to Fight Crime

By: ClassADrivers.com

Earlier this month, Truckers Against Predators worked with police to capture an alleged pedophile in Yuma, Arizona. Thanks to the trucking group’s valiant efforts, the 27-year-old is now facing five felony charges in Arizona alone.

Anthony Greene, the man behind Truckers Against Predators, was filming as the alleged child predator met up with a 13-year-old girl in a Love’s gas station. The perpetrator was allegedly carrying illicit drugs and a firearm. Anthony contacted the local authorities and the Yuma police were able to intervene.

After the arrest, the man was given a bond of $100,000. Although no word was given as to whether the alleged predator was able to make bail or the outcome of the case, the pedophile was to be sentenced on the 14th of January.

And this is not the first time Truckers Against Predators, or TAP, have been in Yuma. In the exact same city in Arizona, TAP caught a different child predator on camera in 2018. That person, Matthew Sanchez, was arrested and sentenced in July 2019

Let’s take an in-depth look at the brave group and discuss how you can join them.

Truckers Against Predators

According to their website,TAP aims to expose predators live, akin to Dateline’s To Catch a Predator, but without the staged set-up. Although their website is still under construction, TAP does have a Facebook page available where truck drivers can reach Greene to help.

Based on the group’s Facebook page, drivers post details of missing children as well as alleged pedophile activity. For example, Greene was tipped off about a 47-year-old trying to meet a 13-year old in his RV. After arriving on site,Greene confronted the man about his plans and got the man’s license plate information.

As many in the trucking industry are aware, prostitution is rampant at truck stops. Regardless of what you think about the legality of “the world’s oldest profession,” it’s important that children do not get caught up.

By being a strong presence in the community, TAP is sending the message that pedophilia will not be tolerated under the watchful eye of truck drivers.

How to Join TAP

If you are interested in keeping predators off the street and away from children, consider joining theTAP Facebook group. With more truckers joining the this community, we can catch predators before the damage can be done and hopefully rescue minors as well. Readers that have a tip for Greene or would like to speak with him directly may do so via messenger.
