Melton Truck Lines Inc Announces New Pay Package for Drivers

Melton Truck Lines has just announced a new pay package that offers truck drivers hundreds of dollars more per month and thousands more per year! Since this pay increase was announced Melton?s corporate headquarters has been inundated with calls from current and potential drivers excited about the generous increase. Senior Recruiter Lesley Tracy says ?This is unbelievable. Drivers are calling us from all over the country wondering how they can get started!?

The improved pay package will offer new drivers 32? per mile when they come to Melton with less than three years of experience 33? with 3-5 years of experience and 34? with at least five years of experience. This base pay can increase to up to 39 cpm as drivers demonstrate loyalty to Melton.

In addition to the lucrative base pay all drivers will also receive 1? per mile bonus each quarter that they meet safe professional driving criteria and a $75 bonus for each load that they deliver to the boroughs of New York City (less than 3% of loads go to NYC). Melton?s combination of base pay bonuses tarp pay health and retirement benefit packages and equipment is second to none in the flatbed industry.

?We recognize and appreciate that drivers face difficult challenges every day? says President Bob Peterson. ?This pay increase is much deserved and is our way of saying ?Thank You? for the hard work and dedication of the drivers who choose to work for Melton.?
