Western Express Updates Fleet

By: Western Express

Currently the entire fleet at Western Express is made up of 2004 2005 and 2006 Volvos and Freightliners.  Despite being one of the newest fleets in the industry the company is again updating their fleet; 2007 models are already arriving to replace the 2004 models.  At Western Express the comfort and safety of drivers is top priority and that requires having quality up-to-date equipment.

?Nobody our size replaces their entire fleet but that is the way we do things. We care about our drivers and want them to have the best equipment without worrying about constant breakdowns? said Matt Neal Director of Recruiting.

In addition to new equipment Western Express has opened new facilities in Kansas City Mo. and Emporia Va.  These additions help the company to blanket the country with terminals that stretch from California to Virginia and south to the Gulf Coast.  Western Express? flatbed division has also expanded by more than 100 trucks.

?This is an exciting time in our company.  We are proud that these new facilities will allow us to offer more opportunities for drivers and better service to our customers? Matt Neal said.

To show appreciation to drivers lunch is provided on weekdays at all terminals and breakfast is available on Saturdays.  Recruiters orientation staff and shop personnel are available in five locations in order to serve drivers.

Come see what?s new at Western Express.  Solo drivers with Western Express average more than 3000 miles per week and all drivers are generally able to be home each weekend.  Drivers stay pre-planned 70% of the time.  Call Western Express today at 1-877-316-7100 or visit the website www.westernexp.com for more information.
