Some of our safety policy requirements that you may want to screen for with your applications/interviews, Mohinie:
Felonies (MOST can be approved if cleared for over 7 years – meaning probation/sentencing/parole has had to have ended OVER 7 years ago)
Misdemeanors (over 3 years from conviction date)
DUI’s (5 years from conviction date)
Accidents – ONLY 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years (A preventable accident is usually any accident where the driver has hit another object or vehicle that is reported on an application, motor vehicle report, DAC report, employment verification, etc.)
NO violations for not wearing a seatbelt in a commercial vehicle within the last 12 months.
NO one on probation at the present time, possible pending charges or on any sexual offender/predator registry
